GODZILLA, KING OF THE MONSTERS 2019
The
new story follows the heroic efforts of the cryptozoological agency
Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god sized monsters,
including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his
ultimate nemesis, the three headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient
superspecies, thought to be mere myths, rise again, they all vie for
supremacy, leaving humanity's very existence hanging in the balance. A
global warming type plague has covered the Earth like a plague of
Semitics and only one family ironically stands in the path of evil.
Godzilla battles a giant damn butterfly and other weird and large things
and this grumpy faced girl, played by Millie Bobby Brown, is strangely
connected to all of the hell on Earth. Hollywood social justice warrior
messages plague the film as the Nancy Pelosi-type political messages
come hard and fast. The special effects are well executed but the plot
is so deranged and rationalized that you actually are required to be on
heroin to watch this film. Have no expectations about taking this film
seriously. Let us repeat: GODZILLA FIGHTS A BUTTERFLY! As a special
surprise, we discover that old Godzilla has a whole living room down
under the ocean where he hangs out and stares at the rocks. Hollywood
politics rage along with your favorite fat lizard!
